Ha! Tickets. I am not even going to make predictions at this point. 'Boks, new coach, new team, AB's and Aussie? Who knows? I might (horror of horrors) if I had to say that the aussies are a dark horse and may pull it out of the house.

Like you say JM I think that it will be close but I still think it will be
1 All Blacks
2 Boks
3 Aus
Althought I think 2nd and third might change, still a ways off so any thing can happen.

To True Biffon

Its a bit like the Ospreys... sorry the Welsh Team .. no no I mean the Ospreys ...

Anyway I would like to see the Boks take it, but I think it will be All Blacks , Boks, Australia.

Dont you mean over rated. The boks will be a force this year (not the force, biff) and I am still pretty sure they will end up in 2nd

Quota, thats what its come down to again, Its all about how we can F''K up rugby by not putting in the best players

I'm telling you, if the boks could learn to beat themselves they would be unstopable

I just hope that they dont do what they did last year by fielding second string sides, that was a complete shambles

It'd be easier closer to the time but as a punt I'd say

AB's
Wallabies
Boks.

There was a reason for that, and it paid off. World Cup Champions, remember?

boks have all the talent in the world - new coach, black empowerment and big heads after world cup are all negative factors... AB's have to reaffirm supporters faith ad Wallabies have nothing to lose! will be an interesting series! Heart goes with AB's then Wallies as their teams had some good tactical play in Supa Dupa 14... And Boks at the end as Im an ABSA supporter..

:smiley36: Senior moment.

Was chatting to some Kiwis this weekend at the pub where we watched the Semis.

After we got all the food poisioning, choking, kamp staaldraad, sheep shagging and pig farmer insults out of the way, we had a good chat about rugby. They all seemed to agree that the Bok WC team were the best in the tournament, and they were impressed with their lack of arrogance and the coolness which they went about winning the WC.

They said that New Zealand was one of the worst places to be after their loss to France in the WC. One of them couldn't drag himself out of bed to go to work on the Monday.

They're also not terribly excited about NZ losing Robbie Deans to Australia.

We all agreed that this year's tri-nations is going to be "interesting"

Right after than we went back to insulting each other again. :smiley36:

Yes as one of us is getting a little older now.

I still maintain that only one team will be above the Boks this year, they are going to be a formidable side, but there is always a kink in the armour somewhere.

I agree. Maybe it is just me, maybe everyone, but I really haven't seen enough international rugby since the world cup and there has been a lot of water under the bridge since then. We will get a look at the ABs when they play England soon.

SA have a punishing Schedule & are the only one of the three teams not to have a bye weekend as they will Play the Argies in a one-off, they also tend not to travel too well So will need to win both their home games convincingly to have any hope of taking it...
on top of that 3/4's of the WC winning side is from the Bulls and they have been woeful, drank a little too much champa's after winning last year!
