Avatar selection

Just popped into User CP to select an avatar. Shows choice of approx. 7 on screen, and in the far right hand corner can just make out 'Page' - suggesting there is more of a selection on a multiple page format.

The gap to the left side of Avatar selection seems very big - hence the page selection dropping off.

Please look into.

Did a google search for Free Avatars - and there were some weird sites coming up! Could you recommend anywhere safe to browse for an image?

I havent put in the option for cash, changing av etc yet. Last one had a security breach so will look into this weekend.

However, out of interest, how do some people have Avatars which do not appear on the standard list? Are these for the bwana mukubas only?

Real easy, and as far as I know they don't have to be safe pics per se: Any old pic, (within size limits) will do.ok, do this:

User cp --> edit avater --> click "use custom avatar" and enter the address of a pic in the URL space --> save changes

In firefox, right click on a picture in, say google images and choose "copy image location", and you can paste this into the address bar for custom URL and click "save changes"

I have a 'standard' avatar that I use on a few sites, but it wont work here as it's a gif file :( - she's really cute, and I'd really like to use her, if possible.
