I went to town this morning to meet my brother, and went round to his house this afternoon, we were all sitting in the garden relaxing, when suddenly a bee flew up my nose.

well u can guess what happened. It stung the inside of my nose, and my face is now swollen and itchy.
it was not funny at the time, but now i laugh about it due to the look of my face. Everyone laughed at the time, with my brothers girlfriend spraying Antihystamine spray up my nose as well as trying to get the sting out. i managed to blow the dead bee out of my nose afterwards.

U got the mental image??????
It was extremely painful at the time and i am so glad i am not allergic to bees and wasps !!!!!

Hey Kimberley, sorry to hear about your misfortune. It reminds me of the time back in Zambia, the bees made a hive in the false ceiling of the verandah. After they attacked the garden boy, and also passing strangers outside the yard, my brother and I decided to get rid of the bees by lighting a fire underneath the ceiling panel and smoking the hive out. Unfortunately, this so enraged the bees, that they started suicide missions against us - day and night would you believe. We couldn't sit with a light on inside the house in the evening! These attacks resulted in both of us getting stung on numerous occasions. At one point, my hands and arms were completely swollen, and to add insult to injury, I heard complete strangers mentioning 'Popeye' as I passed them.

I am very glad you did not suffer a severe reaction to the sting, and I can imagine how now it would appear to be a very amusing incident!
