TCB World Cup Soccer Comp??

Was thinking about having a World Cup Soccer comp for TCB.

We can start off with suggestions and finalise somethnig closer to the time. FerrariSucks will be the main Vbookie for the Wrold cup soccer with Biffon, Poison and myself helping out if need be.

My suggestions:

- I suggest all interested players get their TCB $ reset to $1000.
- Entrants can bet as many times with their $1000 and winner is the person with the most cash at the end of the final.
- Prizes will have to be something big. Like a rename if they choose, scrolling title, 5000 rep or something similar.
- Prizes will be for first, second and third.
- Teams perhaps?

Whats your team idea then. If we can get 32 people to agree then we can pull names from a hat. this will have to be done by you (Shayne) Adam, Poison and Dantik as witnesses of a fair draw. Just have all the interested names in alphabetical order and draw one team per name

Ok for individual betting I have 3 ideas

1) There are 8 Groups A-H, we can bet on who will win their group
2) Who will win the in the knock-outs
3) Who will win the cup

I can set up the Groups and Who will win now and set up the knock-outs as we go along

Game rules are simple. Everyones score reset to $10000 and you bet on as many games for the world cup soccer as you want. If you're like me and know little about soccer. you just guess! Player at the end of the comp with the most cash wins.

Also two teams of five (hopefully). We just add up the cash of team players and the team with the most wins.

Prizes are yet to be decided. I was thinking of perhaps printing off the first ever TCB Tshirts for this to give to winners??

Team Captains to choose appropriate names and get all players to update their sigs perhaps? Get some unity going on this.

RULES
- Teams can help, tell team mates what to bet on.
- Players can bet on as many games World Cup 06 games as they choose listed in Vbookie
- Team mates can donate money to other team players. You are not allowed o receive donations from anyone outside the comp.
- Winner is ther person with the most cash at the end of the Final.
- Teams players add their cash together at the end of the final for the team comp.
- Players can use any means (except next point) to get extra cash. Post whore, lottery, steal points.
- PLAYERS ARE NOT ALOWED TO BET ON ANY OTHER EVENTS DURING WORLD CUP 06. If you are caught betting on another event, you become disqualied from the comp and became the ass end of every gay joke known to man kind from your team members.

If anyone can think of any other rules that should be listed or any grey areas prior to launch, please let me know. We want to this be as fun and straight down the line as possible.

Well its seems the southerners were too busy doing work, drinking and with women to concetrate on this comp hence our loss. The end result, northerners are nerds.

Think we need to reset everyones cash back to their original money prior to the comp starting or to an equal 5k. Unless everyone want sto end up with 453453453453495345534534 points by the end of the year.

Perhaps we can reset to 5k and start a North vs South Tri Nations rugby comp to settle scores?

Why not just have a cumulative comp including all sports. ie comp within a comp. Usual betting format with 10K per sports comp but winning team gets points to add to total for each comp won to lift the ?yearly/six monthly world TCB title!!
