how come you can't upload .gif (ie: animated) avatars?

Been trying this evening and all I get is an error saying "you can not upload animated images' yet some members have animated avatars :smiley13:

Otherwise try using a URL?

Peas, you can get an animated av if you donate to the site, that is why some of us have animatred ones, hope that helps

I have donated - about 2 days ago.... (waiting to be updated)

Even trying with URL and even trying to put my old one back up with the pink eye - and its having none of it :(

and whilst shayne is updatign peas' profile...can he update the gifting avatar thingy...still got a few waiting to fired across, at the mo they look like random crap on my comp

Only donated members can upload animated gifs. I'll check for you Peas.

Added you to the TCB Donators group. I've also removed the comment but i think you can do that yourself in User options.
