Nethack.

My interbeb was down for a few days a little while back and I started playing nethack. What a cool game. I had heard of it but never played it. And it turns out some of my mates are nethack masters from way back. Does anyone else out there still play it?

I also got an old game of doom going on a dos emulator a little while back too.

Ah man, it's a quest. Very very few people have ever finished it, not even the creators. What is cool about it is the graphics. There aren't any! it plays out in a terminal (err, not sure what is called in windows, the bit where you type commands) and .......are walls, ##### are trees, &&&& are monsters etc.

I used to play Realms of Despair. Now thats an awesome text game.Used to be one the biggest around for some years.

Duke Nukem was also a cool game if you had the cheats you could go far but if not you struggled for a while. Crysis, now thats a good game, finished it in 4 months
