Highlands Junior School, Harare. I am not sure which badge we had - it was so long ago. "Persevere" somehow rings a bell. I see that there are two facebook groups for Highlands

I'm a lighty compared to you bru! I was there from '84 to '87. There were still some of the 'old crowd' of teachers from your day - Rab Wright, Mrs Maguire, Ouma Smuts. I can't believe that was all from 24 years ago; well, for me at least.

doesnt it just!!! :smiley20: i'm sure we had both those badges when i was there :smiley17:

Really, we used to spend weekends with the day scholars and spend the nights roaming the streets of Mabelreign looking for the parties. Whenever I had a weekend pass I never slept....I caught up on sleep during Affrix and Music classes.

Oh I remember the avenues well, there was talk of joining them up to make streets. Did anything ever come of that?

You were living my life...lol. We went to the drive in but I honestly can't remember a single movie. It was more of a social networking event. And the discos, well...yes, moving on.
