Shooting at the PM (silly boys he is in an amour-plated vehicle) Driving now is really fun as one navigates the streets. I think they believe that when they cant eat they lose their minds too.

I remember the UAE driving during ramadan. It's not the not-eating part that gets them so much. There's also no smoking and no coffee.

I worked with a nicotine/caffeine junkie and it was hell for that month!!! Makes you realise how good it is that they normally have their fixes.

A 15 min walk brings me to 'mini Algeria' with Algerian coffee shops, supermarkets, halal butchers and restaurants. I love Ramadan because of the cakes - my favourite shop has a whole table packed full of delicious cakes and very very sweet delights.
