As all of you, who are here in Zim, know the problem in drawing cash out of the bank, I was wondering if anyone could help me choose the best way to get my money out of the bank, before it loses value.

You might like to try some of the smaller independent supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc, that are not yet trading in US$ as they will invariably be buying their stock in forex they will no doubt be needing the capital. I was back home last month & went shopping at a couple of the above places where your till slip is rung-up in Z$ but you then go to the manager's office & pay in greenbacks. True Zimbo entrepeneurship - lol!!!!! What sort of rate you'll get l don't know but worth trying nonetheless.

To zimboykie and yarrumsg: thanks for the tips but even the water, lights and phone guys are now demanding cash, no one takes cheques anymore.
To exzim: Have already got plenty shares! But thanks for the suggestion anyway.
