Who would have believed it. Kenya beat SA and Wales at the Wellington 7's last week. And most people though it was a flash in the pash.

Today in San Diego they beat NZ. Bloody hell. Go Kenya. :smiley20:

Wel done Kenya. At the Wellington 7's, they are second only to NZ in support, and the crowd is very vocal when they run on or do a lap of honour. Maybe this will change now?

Mmm, probably not. NZ have been badly hit with injuries from the Wellington tournament. Most of the side they are currently fielding are very inexperienced. Probably won't be too long before they're back on track.

Nevertheless, a great confidence booster for the Kenyans.:smiley20:

New African powerhouses in traditionally strong SA & Rhod/Zim sporting arenas? (rugger & cricket) Good to see the rest of the continent (ok, 1 team only at present) catching up. Weren't Zim playing in the 7s at one point as the Cheetahs?
