Boards is looking for anyone with a contact in the shipping industry in either the Merchant or Passenger Vessel lanes...
This could be benificial to AS as well cos im not so keen to leave Kenya for (now) obvious reasons...
The reason behind it all is that we now have an interest in the security provision for vessles travelling past somalia! All patrol boats, finances, weapons and crews sourced but Customers are outstanding.... this is all for a specific time frame and hence my predicament.
If you know of anyone I'd be most grateful peeps!
Boards out.....

Peas if you could - we are looking for companies who need security for their merchant or passenger liners sailing past the somalian coast..... we have the patrol boats and crew sitting and waiting for the work!!! Its a new service so we are trying to get in on it as early as possible before the masses pull in!

I know someone in shipping, but they really only go to Asia and back, so probably wouldn't be useful to you. I'll ask him if he knows other shipping lines going that way.

Please bear in mind that we are community of African expats and the www is an open book and open to viewer interpretation regarding such a serious topic, even if humour is involved.
I am honestly not sure about the regulations regarding conversations of this nature, I personally do not want to be involved (it is not a line a want to cross) - but I do think that you should bear the owner and the other members in mind.

People, at the top of this thread is a title. And it reads as follows:
The Chief Baboon (http://www.thechiefbaboon.com/forums/index.php) > Zim on a Serious Note (No hijack zone) (http://www.thechiefbaboon.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=49) > Members requesting help: Immigration, Employment, Travel etc (http://www.thechiefbaboon.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=75)
It quite clearly says "no Hijack Zone"
On the topic of the topic, I am not too sure about it either, but as boards has made a point of emphasising that it needs to be above I board, the thread can stay. This position could well be revisited.
