hi there, this website idea is great, but I have to say it's very scary from one who did not go to Vale. Is this site for ex-Vale or anybody that is from Zim????????? sorry if i'm cussing you but in my very nothing opinion this site appears to be primarily for people who went to "Vale" and who know Shanyne ................ i remember Shayne, from my "youth" I turn 30*!!* this year so it was long time ago `..... am not giving any clues to my ID!! Your website is great, BUT if you really want to infiltrate the "Zimbabwe Community", in perhaps you should try not to be so "cliquey" (Eng & Sp) have you ever wondered why you have so many "junior members"??????? people are too scared to enter into your convrsations, as a newbie how can one join in the forum? it's all personal?????????? I appreciate what you are trying to do here but perhaps you need to re-think your personal relationships within this site?>???????????
:whistling:
PS despite all of the above I have recommended this site to 2 people but only because they went to VALE!
PPS does this very frank message mean you are going to ban me??????????????:naughty:
Much praise for the idea you have :smiley20:

I think its great to get feedback on the site, we need more people like you.
This started from a small community of friends but I am sure Shayne will tell you more about what is planned for this site.

Hi Selvan and welcome to the site.
Thanks for the feedback, always a good thing to have so we can improve. I never went to Eaglesvale and no idea why so many of these skabangas hang around here!
Is there anything that you would suggest to make it easier for outsiders to join?

actually top posters on the site hail from
StGeorges, Shed, Gundi, Vale, PHouse & StJohns... so im offended if you think that this site is for valeans only....
*stabs Poison... its all your fault!!!

Welcome Selvan
Like you I wonder about the Vale connection. Perhaps they all got into computers and hence forums I don't know. Personally I have had a lot of fun on the site and I like you may know of people on it but have never been friends with or actually know them well at all! I think being a young site there is bound to banter between friends who set it up. Hopefully the idea is that the more that join the more friends who have been lost over the years will be reaquainted. All I can say is give it a go. You've got nothing to lose but perhaps things to gain. Enjoy.

Hey Selven - Welcome! :smiley20: Like Aboriginal - I don't know half the people on this site but am getting to know them. Did you have a look in Zim Schools Catch up? If your school isn't posted in there why not start up a thread. I got going on the site through the Shed thread which, although there are only 3 Ex-Sheds on the site, is the largest thread in that forum! Mmmmmmmm - maybe all those Vale bums had a secret desire to go to Shed! :smiley2: Pity we wouldn't have them! :smiley36:
If our conversations are a bit intimidating in the future Neg rep us all (But not me!:smiley20: ) and change the topic - choppers!

Just my thoughts on why this site is so good.
1) its free!
2) we dont dwell on the past issues as much ie we are more focussed on the present issues we all are facing rather than historical rhetoric.
3) most members here have a regular online presence and we can actually get to know each other rather than just putting up our contact info and moving on as with other well known zimbo/rhodie sites
4) some of the posts really make me laugh, brighten my days
issues we are aiming to resolve:
1)male v female imbalance - too many murume's and not enough vakadzi's
2)more content / things to do for all members on the site. (theres already heaps.. check out googlemap, vbookie & the Arcade if youre bored!! )
