Well the big day finally arrives tomorrow! The little person you see beneath my avatar comes into the world tomorrow morning via c-section as she/he couldn't be bothered to get into the head-down position in time - talk about missing the bus!!!! (must take after me!) So if all goes well (fingers crossed & God willing!) l'll fill you in with all the details & a picture of her/him outside of the womb for comparison to the one taken from inside 3 weeks ago. Wish us luck!

Howzit all. Thanks a span for the kind sentiments. Little Connor Johan (names still to be confirmed) was delivered by c-section this afternoon at 12:31, weighing in at 3.11 kgs (6 lbs 10 oz in old money) & both mom & bambino are doing brilliantly! Photos will follow soon - l promise!

Here're some more taken today. He seems a tad grumpy in one & has unfortunately in another scratched his face (man, their nails are long when they're born!) They've since been trimmed & his little mittens secured on with cable-ties to keep them on!

The little sod! My vrou was released a day early from the hospital so upon unpacking everything et al l decided to take a peek at his nappy & lo & behold it required changing. I wipe him down & everything, slide the new nappy underneath him & he decides to have a pee & sqirted up a little fountain all over himself & me! Anybody want to adopt a 2-day old baby . . . . . . ? To any parents: is it always going to be like this???????????????????????????????

lol, yes zimboykie get used to the peeing - the pee can shoot clear across a room if you manage to jump out the way fast enough.

ZB, a word of advice....always check under the nut-sack after a poo!! My brother-in-law once changed a little boy's nappy, he did all the right things with wipes, powder and all the rest. When he lifted the little guys legs up to bring the nappy through....there hidden was a whole job needing to be cleaned.

ah bless!!! Weeing on you already! Brace yourself though, it gets worse. My oldest little boy used to do projectile poo's. You would clean his nappy, have a new one ready asnd waiting, hold his legs up and a line of poo would literally fly at you. I managed to dodge it once and the poo managed to reach the wall behind me (and it was quite a big room so a fair distance to travel!). Have fun :smiley36::smiley36::smiley36:
