Its rare that I am around these days, and its rarer that I put anything up anymore.

Work tends to keep me more or less occupied full time. However due to the fact that I have no eternal wish to remain within the Concentration Camp, making boots and dealing with broken pieces of IT equipment, I have at the same time decided to pursue other forms of personal advertising.....

This is my first foray into it, and deffinately the first website that I have put together ! So bearing these 2 factors in mind, would the general populace be kind enough to go through what I have cobbled together and when you have finished with the general hilarity of it, may you be kind enough to hurl some sort of feedback in my general direction.

It is hard to strike a balance with what I am trying to do without sounding a total clown or a complete arse, yes there are spelling and grammatical errors, and they will be corrected at the final launch date.

But for the moment, thoughts, views and opinions will hopefully go into ironing out wrinkles and introducing areas or concepts that I have not seen.

Before you say anything, all the professional names I went for have long been taken, so tough shit on the name choice !

And lastly, no wise assed comments about fancy HTML Scripting, JAVA, Flash or any of those other funny things that sing dance and generally create headaches... I know sod all about them and am happily using coffee cup to get my head round things :)

you could do with a home, resume, blah blah buttons on the bottom of every page, or did i miss that

good luck

Looks good at first glance iggy. A few quirks with the copy overlapping (I am using Firefox on a mac) and it probably needs a menu on each page so that people can link back to the home page rather than backspacing all the time. The set width is a bit wide for those using narrow screen too.

One comment in passing... I wouldn't say 'foreign educated' behind your O' and A' levels on your resume though - Zim schools adhered to British - usually Cambridge standards - regarding qualifications, so not that foreign.

This has to be the most original way of going about getting a job. I have never seen it before and its a farking fantastic way of selling yourself. Not much to hit you with, although, would it be possible for you to scroll down with the background being stagnant. Other than that, BRILLIANT

Brilliant, Iggy. I like the background, the set-up and the random humour you throw in. Being not much of a computer buff myself all I can see you'd still need are navigation tabs on each page to save having to go back all the time. Is there a way you can set the background picture and let the text roll as you scroll? Some of the writing is against a very light background and my first instinct was to scroll the text past it.

Well done on the concept, it has to be a first.

Looks pretty good to me! Some of the pages took quite a while to load, but then I'm on quite a slow link - not broadband like most of you!

One other thing...some of your Previous/Next links don't seem to work properly, perhaps due to the layout of the page.

Thanks for all the feedback, have decided to tear it up and do it again. Didnt like the blue, thought it was to heavy.

Now have gone maybe a little OTT ........

Am trying to figure out the static page scenario .... sssh dont tell me, i need to learn !

Testing being going all day :) .... Have cracked the scrolling test issue, well kinda ! It works until i fiddle with everything then have to redo the coding.... ooophs !

Think the background is better this time round :)

Am sure there'll be some who wont agree ....

Right ....All weekend on this sodding thing ! Now it is beginning to piss me off !

Cant seem to get the background to fit properly on a laptop that is running 1378 . 898 ...

So again, ignoring the basics would you be good enough to look and tell me what you see :)

Font is supposed to be in either size 4 in most cases on 3 on the bio page with the headings @ 5.

and do the images look crap or blurry

I just had another look and everything worked very well. No problems loading and navigation is easy. I like it, Iggy, very nice.
