A little early isn't it?
Does anyone even pay attention to this? I only watch it coz there is nothing else on but who really wants to watch the 5th ,6th ,7th ,8th ,10th and 12th ranked teams in the world go at it?

Barto.
Always watch, especially the last day when all 6 teams play on the same day.
About a dozen of us start at the cafe for greasy breakfrast fry up, then it's on to the pub, cold beers, match 1, pub lunch, beer, match 2, sharing platters, beer, match 3, beer and then off to the Curry House for more beer and a curry.
Been the same group of us for about 12 years and it's just an un written rule that it's our annual get together and all new girlfriends have to subscribe.
The girls learn that it's easier to either go shopping and pick us up at the end of the night or if they like rugby like my wife, then they join us after we have been to the cafe.

I'm another one that watches, if only because of the fact I always have. Unfortunately I'm expecting Scotland to collect the wooden spoon again...

Who's the money on this year - France, Ireland or Wales? I can't imagine England or Scotland finishing in the top 3 Hopefully Nick Mallett's Italy will pull off a few suprises too & reap one or two big scalps.

I have always been a Dragons supporter, and I would love the Italians to bring a few more teams down.
So go Wales, and come on Italy.

I don't have access to the games, but I can assure you that just because someone is not placed in the top three doesn't mean that the rugby is no good. New Zealand's provincial comp (NPC) this year was far better than the supposedly better ranked super 14.

Anybody know if the Blue Bulls, Sharks or Stormers are coming over in the next month or two for pre-S14 warm-ups against London Wasps, Quins & Sarries like they did some few years ago?

Sharks & Stormers are playing a pre-season Tournament against the Western Force in Cape Town over the next 2 weeks, then its a week to align the stars and settle on final squads before the S14 start.
I know the Force have one more Game against the Reds in Perth...

he mustve been really tired cause some of that tiredness rubbed off on the Chiefs.. never seen a more promising team consistently crash and burn like they do...
