Zimbabwe begins compensating white farmers

Former commercial white farmers in Zimbabwe whose farms were acquired by the state for resettlement, have started receiving their compensation, a senior government official has said.

The question is are they being paid prices of 5 years ago at government exchange rates?

I dont care what sort or how much money they would be paid out, nothing can compensate for what the farmers had to go through, what with all the stress they had to go through with them being terrorised and killed, having their houses turned inside out and their farm stock butchered, i think its sick to even think they can try and pay them for what has happened to them. the trauma they have all suffered. After generation apon generation they have farmed and lived there.

unfortunately this argument will fall on deaf ears, their response would be "well you did the same to us when you "colonised" africa so now its pay back.." thats whats its all about anyway!

the farmers were already there before zim was colonised anyway they were happy as larry to work the farms they had food, water, housing and a job, now what do they have nothing.
