Leicester Tigers beat the Boks tonight 22-17; albeit it a Bok reserves side but l suppose Martin Johnson's old team won't see it that way. Nice too to see where Lote Tuquiri finally ended up. So much for a Bok clean sweep of games.

hey well if that opened his eyes a little and actually reffed the right game we might have stood a better chance, first try they scored nothing like 2 little bits of interfearance to block the tackles. 22 drop out fumble the ball pick it up and run on.
constantly holding onto the ball. hands in the ruck, oh and yea the clock might be up but when you foul and fumble the ball 10 times with a few knock on's erm... mr ref that's scrum white ball...

SA can always be guaranteed to play against 16 men when Stuey Dickheadson is reffing. Come back please Steve Walsh - all is forgiven!

Guys, it was LEICESTER!!!, I can understand making excuses about some interference, a knock on and a half blind ref if they were playing the All Blacks, or France, but Leicester????. These are the Spingboks! Tri nations champs and holders of the William Webb Ellis!, beaten by an English provincial side. Why teams insist on stinging together second string sides (AB's vs France 2007) eludes me, but remember that Leicester was missing five of its England players, and another seven through injury. Good on them, I hope they take maximum milage out of it, like Munster do, regarding their 1978 victory over New Zealand.

No excuses from me...2nd string or not, dodgy ref or not the bok jersey deserves more respect from the players wearing it.

We were aweful, and all that proved to me was a lot of those players have a lot of work if the want to play (or continue playing, Guthro Steenkamp) for the real boks. Ashley Johnson, expect a phone call from the 7s coach, coz with defense plays like that, it'll be where you belong

cant say i watched it.. was too busy prepping for the Wobbllies to give the poms a hiding... which they did.. :D
i was however impressed with pretty boy wilkinson.. he still has it. .. woeful scrummaging and lack of imagination in attack by the poms killed any chance of him having a realistic impact.. Cueto had an ok game in attack and between him and Wilko, were the only two to really threaten the wallabies defence..

Gregan who??... step up Genia.. the boy has all of Gregans finess and sniping ability with a faster delivery and sharp shooting bullet passes to boot!.
Giteau had another unremarkable game but the rest of his back line really put the screws on the English defence... the result was in the bag by the 60th minute..

As for the Poms...the AB's are going to eat them alive!! and the full strength bok side should do the same...

I was devastated by the Boks defeat - I don't believe in excuses either but I suppose they have to give the youngsters a game now and again - still not good enough tho.

Well done to the AB's - that was one of the best games of rugby I have seen in a while - Wales (who I supported in the game and always do in 6 nations) played a good game tho - but as ever, the AB's were just too strong !!!!!

Glad the Aussies beat England (not that I like the Aussies, but can't stand England). However, must say Wilkinson still has it - but how long can Martin Johnson rely on the old boys?????????
