This is up for sale if anyone is interested or knows of anyone wanting one.

One of the best 90's of its age that I have seen in years ! Chassis is the original and there isnt a mark or a patch on it.

Current owner has fitted new springs, shocks, rad, 300tdi starter, uprated lights, NATO tow hitch and loads of other bits and bobs fitted. Come with a set of Deep Dish Offroad rims.

Tax for another 3months and MOT until June.

60k on the clock before he took the speedo out and replaced it with a civvy unit.

This thing has not be abused at all and I doubt if it has ever been driven off base from the condition it is in.

Currently painted white, as when he got it, original green is underneath.

Valued well over what he wants for it and is worth every penny !

£2750.00 onco.

Also for sale, Metallic Blue Disco V8i on a M plate 95 reg, Fully fitted LPG conversion, 165k on the Clock of which a 100 has been done purely on LPG. Beautiful silky smooth V8, I know this one well and know he has never spared a penny on the motor. Sounds like a highly tuned TVR rather than a landrover !

Downside is, boot floor is getting scabby as are 2 sills, both will need doing in the next 6 / 12months. All parts are available cheaply, or you can simple make your own using sheet steel or pull them from a breakers yard. Some scratches, and small dints but nothing to be expected from a car of this age.

Engine in this one is worth £500 on its own, LPG system is £350. Still taxed and tested and is used as an everyday run around.

£1200.00 for this one.

Ps, if anyone wants more pictures etc, during daylight hours, I am happy to do a 150mile round trip, stand / lie in the rain for them. But I am going to be a bastard and ask for a fuel donation !

Sounds fantastic! Nothing beats a landy (ok, maybe a cruiser) with a winch, high-lift jack, long-range tanks, bull bar & the landmine-proofing like the old Rhodie army landies had! Have one of those & you can go looking for trouble rather than wait for it to happen to you. Can you still get the doors like on the old series 1 & 2 (?) that had the sliding window top bit you could remove for added ventilation? I remember seeing one up at the falls at some elephant riding place out by the airport that had a large water tank bolted onto the cab roof with an arm having a shower rose at the end of it that you could swing out for an anywhere shower - how cool is that! (are things like that off-the-shelf or custom-made l wonder?) Not sure if you'd be able to use one at a pommie camp site though or at least not kalgaat like in the bush - lol!

Could have done with that with the weather we have had the last few days. Council is skimping on gritting small roads, ergo it's an ice rink surface out there.

Really wish I could have one of those two as a pressie.....

Anyone wanting a Rhodie history Landie,
there is a dealer near Preston who specialises in series 3 landies who has a Rhodie monitoring force series 3 complete with the "round" roll over bars and no doors etc. Only had a few thousand on the clock as it was mothballed after its repatriation to the UK where it sat till it was sold on

Still rate the Stage 1 myself for what its worth

Anybody remember the red '57(?) SWB series 1 landie back in Zim with "THE BEAST" painted on the rear door? What a way to travel!
