From the 22nd July 2011 to the 25th July 2011
This is without a doubt
The best weekend of the year.
It will be great to see both old and new faces.
Bookings are not open yet, but as soon as they are
I will let you all know.

BOOKINGS FOR JULY BRAAI 2011 ARE NOW OPEN.
Booking forms can be downloaded from www.rhodesianspioneerclub.co.uk (http://www.rhodesianspioneerclub.co.uk)
If anybody has problems with the forms please let me know and I will send one out to you if required.
If you are not a member of the RPC (Rhodesian Pioneer Club) you can also download the membership form off the same website - you need to be a member of the RPC to attend both POTS and July Braai. It is a one off payment for life membership - well worth it.
POTS (Pig On The Spit) will be held at the same venue from the 3rd June to the 6th June 2011 - these booking forms are not on the website yet - but will let you know when they are available. This is a perfect warm up for July Braai - ask Doro!
COME ON GUYS - SUPPORT US!!!!!

Guys, you better be there.... serious bender of the year... also POTS is a good one to go to as well (over 100 people were at POTS and over 2000 were at July Braai) I invited a few mates to come last year and now they all want to go again this year... so get your booking forms in and polish up your drinking boots.....

Don't temp fate Sam, a few years ago the JB had a lot of high water.
Shucks if only I knew, I have thrown away my trusty old tent. After many years pitching at festivals I realised that holes, bits of tied up string and tree branches do not a tent make and it went in the bin.

On the Rhodesians Pioneer Club website - the address is in my post above - if you register on the site you can download the booking form. Good luck :smiley20:

POTS aka "Liver Preperation Weekend" is just a few weeks away now. Weather looks like its going to hold. Permission slips granted from other halves, so the Boys - "Shaggy", "Trickey", "Lovegod" and myself will be there.

I've seen the photos, heard the stories and very chuffed to hear you all had a brilliant time at this years July Braai. Not to wet to dampen the mood. Well that's another years festival over, and I hope the hangovers were worth it.

In the reply box where you you type in the message you will see a little yellow icon with a mountain on it.
If you right click on your image in facebook, and "copy image URL" or whatever sounds the closest to that. Then click on the little yellow "Insert image" icon in your TCB post and right click paste into the little box that appears will bring your pictures over to here where we can see them

Brilliant piccies Sam - it was a fabulous weekend (what I could remember of it including my 11pm call to Boards courtesy of Lynnie - he was not a happy bunny)!!! LOL.

what happened to the braai we made when we went Sam?
That was funny, it took us a couple of hours of reading the instructions and trying to work it out and some lovely man came along and put it together in about half an hour :) Men, can be so useful!

Dan and I had a brain wave to burn the hedge clippings (it had been left to grow wild for ages so there was alot) in it and it was never the same again. It was a cheap flimsy one anyway so he always wanted to get a bigger and better one, so he is chuffed now.....

I feel so awful that I never got to talk to you and I am so sorry that the two times you came over I had to either go somewhere or do something - I was quite drunk, so that is my excuse - sorry for being so rude. Hopefully we can catch up at the next one xxx

When I get a chance I will put some on - to be honest didn't take that many - was too busy! I am also having problems getting photos off my camera at the moment - don't know why! :smiley5:
