As the situation in Zimbabwe gets worse and worse, those that have been able to cope until now are finding it a struggle to keep their heads above water ... unless they're into "shadey dealings".
I came across this in the Bulawayo Morning Mirror I have e-mailled to me every week, and it really made my heart go out to those that desperately and genuinely need all the help they can get:

This is Chantelle Moore I am asking for assistance, my Son (Keano
Klein) who is 1 year 2 months, has just been diagnosed with a very,
very rare blood disorder called KOSTMANNS SYNDROME & SHWACHMAN -
DIAMOND SYNDROME. The only cure is a bone marrow transplant, which
is
only done in Cape Town South-Africa, its very costly & costs R550
000.00.Keano has to be on an injection for the rest of his life, to
be administered daily, it is available here in Zimbabwe but
unfortunately it (the injection) costs $108 000 000.00 (one hundred
and eight million dollars) per day, which I can`t afford. The
injection needs to be administered (daily) to keep Keano alive,
until
we raise the SAR 550 000.00 for Keano to have the none marrow
transplant.I'm really caught between a rock and a hard place, I am
asking for assistance, please as you may or may not know, things
here
in Zimbabwe are very hard. I really don`t know what next to do!!!
