'Fush' is ACTUALLY Ellis Robins- & it was a word play on their school badge, which has two FISH on it... Allan Wilson, the Sables, was known as "A DUB" (as In A double W) in my school days...capice?

It's good to know that that there are still some Dub ouens about man - a great school in it's day! The annual Dub/PE rugger match was always a spectacle. I think the last time Alli Willi won it was in 1986, the year after the egg-throwing, near-riot between supporters back in '85! I recell PE won the battle but l think Dub won the war on the stands! PE's 35-2 arse-kicking of Dub at waterpolo at the '87 Bruce Kennedy will probably always be a sore point but l suppose when you had guys like Vaughn Smith in your squad arse-kicking is a certainty! To any vinatge Old Wilsonians out there was it true that Dub used to be the junior school for PE? I seem to have heard that as a lighty but can't remember it being confirmed or denied. I don't even know if Allan Wilson still has a polo team or even if they still play PE in rugger. Life goes on l suppose.
