else on your list - I was in the same house as Ryan Swart, and in the
same year as Trev Prouse and Dennis Boddy. Ryan is a good owen - can't
say the same for Shiloh though..

The name rings a bell but I can't put a face to the name. Most PH oakes
(born 74-76) know me because I lived just by Malwatte and they used to
come down for a few castles during the weekend. I was also involved in
running the snake park @ Malwatte and there loads of snake enthusiats
at house.



Me and Berny were mukkas from diggie though as we both keen cricketers

My GPs (John & Beth Hardy) used to live there when i was a lightie, then they moved to Juliasdalewhen i was about 6...am family friends with the Martins (Dr & Mrs, Christy, Rogan etc in fact Kevin was my GP for a long time) so i spent many a holiday fart arsing about in that neck of the woods....

Don't remember the Hardy's but I have known the entire Martin family
for years. I know Rogan the best as we were the same year @ school and
we played a lot of sport together. Both Bronwyn and Murry are still in
Zim i believe & i think both married, certainly Bronwyn has been
for a number of years.



Rogan is still in the US & married as well. Saw Christy a few years back & i think she is teaching here in the UK.



If I had to hazard a guess i would say the Doc & Mrs M are still @ gatehouse but I could well be wrong on this.

Dave is in Zim still. Mike is in Cairns, Christy is in the UK i believe, with new hubby (i could be wrong though). Rogan was in the US last i heard but that was ages ago. Kirsty Martin (ex-chisi) had a little boy - not sure where she is now- she was a real wild child that one ? but good humor to be around.


I don't know any of the other members of the famdamily so cant say who or where.


I think you are right spaniel, Rogans folks are still in zim, Mike & daves folks are also still in mdera. They came over to aus on holiday last year, i didnt see them but apparently they loved it - just not able to immigrate i don't think, due to age and occupation.smileys/smiley5.gif

Ja, Rogan got married last yr in June in the states, Christy to ex CBC boy Ewen Findlay in April (she's still in Zim, came back end of '03) They stayed a night with me in Jozi on their way home from Ewen's boets wedding in Cpt in Oct. last yr...so that branch of Martins are ALL M for married...ja, Doc & Gill are still in 'dera @ Gatehouse...
