Future of Zimbo.bouceme.net

Hi all,


As mentioned a number of times, i am planning on buying a domain soon but need some help on a new name. Unfortunately, we cant keep the zimbo.bounceme.net name although i'll keep forwarders so everytime someone enters that, it'll be directed to the new site.


So we either go with the standard zimbobounceme.net (without the dot) or come up with a new name.


BY THE WAY. I will be importing all posts made here into the new one so nothing will be lost.


I was thinking about some of these but its merely a brainstorming session for now. I was thinking along the lines of a zim name but it doesnt have to be that. How about-

If the .com names are already taken we could always go with .net or similar.

Love the ideas guys. Lets keep on it. The main thing holding me back at this stage is the name. New forum, membership drive etc is coming along nicely. Once we have a name we can start with advertising on other sites.

I think it should be just for zimbo's well at least while it is still a free forum - that would ensure things dont get out of control


it also means that we can all relate to the same things in most of the threads and be able to participate in them.

it will always remain free. i have found the perfect web hosting plan now just need to decide on a #@$##$ name! Decided to remain on the current forum setup for at least a few more weeks so i can perfect the new forum.

Thanksto everyone for the input for the future of this site. I have finally chosen a name and have secured a web hosting facilty in the states.


The forum will be sitting on the new site later this week. We will remain with the current forum setup until i have finished the new one.
