Thought we could chat about movies.

Anyone watched Havenly Creatures before withKate Winslet? It was directed by Peter Jackson and i thought it would be really good. Kind of screwed up to be honest. And weird.Edited by: Shayne

my favorite movie this year would have to be "Serenity"

Cult Sci-fi movie based on the Firefly tv series

Damn good show - not too over the top with the storyline and great action scenes / SFX.

Next best would be "Starwars EP3" and then "Fun with Dick & Jane"

that movie is the funniest comedy ive seen since "something about mary"

Butterfly Effect is about a guy who can go back in time to fix the past, but because he changes the past, it effects other people, so he is constantly going back to fix it.

Has anyone watched UNLEASHED with Jet Li

http://www.thechiefbaboon.com/forum/Uploads/FerrariSucks/2006-01-07_074754_main-page.jpg

http://www.themoviebox.net/index_images/black_CUBE.gif Plot:
"UNLEASHED" is the story of Danny (Jet Li), a slave who has lived his whole life without any sort of normal human education, with the mind and personality of a young child, with only one lesson learned: how to fight.

Treated like a dog by his owner/boss, Bart (Bob Hoskins) which includes having to wear a collar, Danny has been raised to be a lethal fighting machine who fights in illegal gladiator-style fight clubs, where he earns lots of money for Bart as the undisputed champion.

After a car accident that lands Bart in a coma, however, Danny meets a kind elderly blind piano tuner (Morgan Freeman) on the run because he knows secrets some bad guys don't want known, who uses music to teach Danny some things about the world and about being human.

King Kong was entertaining but a bit over the top- effects were great!

Transporter 2... who da man?

Dvds from China cost USD 1.50... & in Thai they're US$ 4... hence, I have over 400!

Chicken little- cute (for my daughter)!

Classics- Braveheart, ThePatriot, Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption, Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games & the God father Trilogy- new book out which covers the in- between bits... Great read!! More recently Troy,Alexandra & Kingdom of Heavan.

Green street Hooligans was a riot- pommie footie fans fucking each other up!

Four Brothers

MI3 coming soon

The new Charlize Theron (Aeon Flux or something) was crap!

Lord of War is a great movie...also rate Jarhead...if you have an interest in military history etc its a greaty film...ex US Marine sniper team dude & his unit/ brigade'sexperiences of bootcamp, & their tour of duty pre & into Gulf war I...HOO YAH!Those roughnecks are funny with all their kit...the really interesting thing was that for all their shit kicking they were actually underprepared for the gulf war (e.g. they didnt have enough sets of desert combat camo for all their troops so some okes were in jungle camo! "HULLO!...iraqis..shoot ME!")
