There is ALWAYS one...ha ha ha ha...i was doing some research on CEOs, CFOs, MDs, COOs etc of SAs top 100firms & guess what? 62% of these ppl are Rhodesia/ Zimbabwe born, educated & in some cases gained their work experience there...& now they are running the SA economy, while Bob burns ours to the ground...oh what could have been...

Quite often im asked where i come from cause of my accent, and when i reply Zimbabwe, they say either Oh my neighbour is form there or this person i work with is from there, its funny to think how many of us are here(NZ) but i don't really meet many

The best way to find all the zimbos is to arrange a Zimfest. The UK one is up and running very well now. It just takes one person to secure a football field, live music and beer tents and you are on your way.

We're going to do something here in SA this yr, but more likely going to be low key cos the majority of okes are hear illegally & would have a bit of a hassle...was on a job in Boksburg & stopped to ask two local lookin lads for directions & they were like.."we're from Zim- hey, you went to St John's & played rugby..." They were ex Churchoill okes!
