Not sure if anyone on here knew about the Jacaranda Ball. If so, sorry for the clog up.
Please note I am not involved with the organisation, etc etc of this event or indeed with the Jacaranda Club - however just wanted to pass on the information in case anyone else would like to attend.

Hi Everyone...
The Jacaranda Club is happy to inform all Zimbos/South Africans - basically Southern Hemispherians that it's first dinner dance/Ball will be held on Saturday 21st of October 2006 at Park Inn Hotel - Northampton. Cost is £25 per person - which includes a full 3 course dinner, live band, lots of entertainment and basically a night to remember...! Accommodation is available at £54 double/twin - including a full English Breakfast the next day.. There is a pool, sauna, gym etc at the hotel too... Transport shouldn't be an issue as the hotel is within walking distance from the station, for those wanting to drive - it's close to the M1 and there is ample parking at the hotel. All money raised from this event will go to the pensioners in Zim for Xmas... So - it's for a good cause and gives us all a reason for a pre winter blues bender.... Those of you with kiddies - we have a childcare facility available... email me at jacarandaclub@hotmail.co.uk for any further information
