Right let's do the introductions... My name's Lindsey - I am 35 and moved to the UK with my husband and kids 7 years ago... Still go back to Zim whenever we can... Have recently started The Jacaranda Club with a whole lot of Zim mates, which I'm very pleased to see has had it's 'Jacaranda Ball' details posted on this site - thanks very much to whoever posted it! We're fundraising for the pensioners in Zim and hoping to make this Christmas a happy one for them through having a fantastic party!. Thanks to the Admin on this site for providing a great site ... I am pleased to see TCB are also organising Zim 'gatherings' ... I think there are so many of us here in the UK who enjoy a good old Zimbo social and find that there are too few of them happening... Anyway - enough said ... have a great weekend everyone!

Well done on the Jac club & joining TCB! You should contact Wilf & Trish Mbanga about getting some coverage for your fundraising initiatives through The Zimbabwean (www.thezimbabwean.co.uk (http://www.thezimbabwean.co.uk) )

Welcome Lindsey :)
If TCB can provide you any extra help for the fund raising, please let us know. I'd suggest talking to Chantillylace who does our newsletter to advertise in there too.

Ah - posting for Cez ... glad you enjoyed the camping weekend ... it was good hey! Next years one will be even bigger and better ... though we'll have to draft in extras to help coz 700 people were like 'hard work'... for me and the labour force!! Glad it's a summer event after looking out my window now ... Anyway send me a message with your email addy and I'll keep you up to speed with whats happening...
