That should come under the worst thing ever captured in rugby

Whoever wins it in 2007 must get it disinfected! THAT was a tragic day in the history of the game...

truly shameful - especially as the wallabies were lucky to get as far as they did - it should have been the AB's in the final - then it would have been a different ball game for sure!!

After all the beating, he still kicked the ball over and they WON.
Hahaha
you know I'm just winding you all up. You need to give credit when credit is due and England put out a good team and played just as hard as everyone else, but was just ONE drop kick better on the day.
Right now I think they are 10 games behind, they will never be able to pull of that win now.

No doubt they had a 'good' team...the worlds most boring & conservative team won the world cup...do you have any idea how bad that is for the global growth of the game when the world champions are SO EFFING BORING!? if you look at all the past winners up to 2003, they have been the teams that have been creative on attack & solid in defence...england just stuck the ball under their forwards shirts & drove, Jonny kicked penalties & field position & now they have their name on the cup...SHAMEFUL! smileys/smiley36.gif

I don't think it is shameful.
Just like most sports these days the games are becoming more technically engineered.
Those 3 points were enough to errupt the whole of the United Kingdom and create the biggest syncronised "Oh, shit". nothing boring about that dude.

Granted it created an emotional shitstorm in the rest of the world outside england (i'm SO glad i wasnt there i would have been forced to kill myself)...THANK GOD the rest of the world has firmly wiped that smirk off Lord Bald's face as both England & then the Lions have been put firmly back in their spot on the global pecking order...its a simple thing really...play attractive rugger & people support you & success follows (albeitgrudgingly in some cases e.g. the wallabies, ABs & Bok supportersmight hate each othe's teams but do have genuine respect for their opponents when they are on form & playing good ball...i am still waiting for England to put together a string of both winning & entertaining rugger as opposed to arm wrestling the ball to the line all the time...)
