Hi guys,
Thought I'd just give you all a bit of news about our 'Jacaranda Ball' which went ahead last night... After much panic, sleepless nights and thoughts of impending disaster - the event all fell into place and went off fantastically. We had 110 people there - with the kids room having another 22 lively children running around.. It was brilliant - everyone dressed to impress and we had lots of dancing to Ashley Benjamin's wonderful guitar playing and singing... followed by a great assortment of good party music... We had a charity 'casino' with a blackjack table which was extremely popular, a raffle, and auction and we even had our own version of Pick A BoX .. which was hilarious!! We vacated the 'Ballroom' at 2am and moved the blackjack table and guitars into the residents bar where about 60 people stayed and partyed on until about 4am... There were some die hards who did not go to sleep and were still up when we all went to breakfast!! 95% of the people who attended stayed in the hotel so it was a fantastic weekend of Zimbo bonding - with quite a few of our neighbours from South AFrica supporting us... I enjoyed myself and I hope that those who came along did so too!!! :smiley20:
