Hello every one, my name is Chris and have been living in Canada for a life time ha. Left Zim (Rhd) a long time ago. Long before a lot of you were born I bet.

The day Ian Smith declared UDI is the day I passed through Bulawayo to Cape town to get on a ship bound for England.

I went to School in Gatooma Jameson High. Left school and started working inSalisbury (Harare). Went to the Oast Office Eng Colledge there in Belverdere.Went from there to Kitwe and then started work on the Mines there.

Now in Quesnel British Columbia. Would you belive I have being in Canada forjust on 40 years thats a long time EH ?.

Hi Chris.
Only just noticed this thread. I was in Zambia in Nov/Dec last year. Things are not too bad there now, plenty of food in the shops and lekker steaks etc.
Was staying in Ndola with my daughter and family, only got up to Kitwe once, met a couple of old friends and had a few pots with them. The lager is still the best (except for the Congo beer) lol. I have some pics to post, always have something else to do tho' Nice to see you here.
