Hi, I'm NewsGuy, and I found out about your messageboard from Jan Lamprecht's excellent "African Crisis" website.

Among other things, I am the producer of a radio show, "The Right Perspective," heard live every Friday 10pm EST over shortwave WWCR 3.215 Mhz and the Internet at www.therightperspective.com (http://www.therightperspective.com). Full archives of our show can be downloaded and heard for free at http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com.

The last hour of our show, our show switches gears to a "show-within-a-show" we call, "Hello, Africa!," which we aim to "shed light on the Dark Continent". Although the focus of our coverage is on South Africa, we do cover Zimbabwe and other parts of Africa. A few weeks ago, we had on Douglas Southgate and Zim political activist Simon Spooner (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/interview-douglas-southgatesimon.html), and next week we plan a show about Zimbawe again. Other guests on our show have included Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/helen-zille-interview.html), Peter Boshoff (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/great-south-african-crime-debate.html) (who we debated severely), Andre Alkema from the GHA (Society for the Advancement of Afrikaans) (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/09/ethnic-cleansing-in-south-africa.html), Dr. Lets Pretorious (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/08/anc-land-grab.html), Eugene Terreblanche (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/02/eugene-terreblanche-interview.html), and Jan Lamprecht (http://therightperspectivepodcastblog.blogspot.com/2006/11/pw-botha-memorium.html).

Great to see another site up that brings truth about Africa to the mainstream! Will be checking in often.

Welcome! Your title just made me think of the Dr Alban song and now it's stuck in my head!

"Hello Africa, tell me how you're doing / Hello Motherland, tell me how you're doing."
