I just made a last minute decision to go to Zim for 2 weeks over christmas.

I am keen on doing some tiger fishing. I have booked a house boat for a few days, but wanted to do separate trip to chirundhu. I heard tiger fishing is decent there. Does anyone have any idea of what accommoation is available there...lodges etc.? Some names would be helpful.

I'm guessing it may be late too make bookings, but I'll give it a try.

Biffon, I'm sure you have some info since you are the big fisherman here.

I heard Willy Reed left Chirundu years ago and is living in Cape town now, could be wrong, not sure if Tiger Safaris is still running though

Yip, Willy Reed sold a while back to a syndicate of farmers.

Tiger Safaris is still in operation just under the new management.

Yep, superficially the changes look prospectful, but we'll just have to see. Even enemies of the U.S appear to be chuft.
