Lots of pics - just need to download them!
You have to go to Prague - it is such a beautiful town - really well preserved and just makes you realise just how much of London was lost in the 2nd WW. We walked everywhere - had a warm and fuzzy moment on the Charles Bridge - it was like an old movie - picture us standing on this beautiful old bridge which is overlooked by a palace. Mist swirling around and this band playing a Frank Sinatra song 'I'll be seeing you'. Very, very romantic! Yes - we did have a little smooch!
Then there's the beer - the Czech's love their beer and while I'm more of a vodkacoke kinda gal I did give a few of the local beers a go and they were really good! The food there is also YUMMY!! Lots of pork, goulash, bread dumplings - yes - the diet has started again!
We also went to see this church just outside of Prague - it's decorated with human bones - 40 000 people's bones! Made me feel a little ill. The grave yard was considered sacred so became a place where everyone wanted to be buried, but it ran out of space and so 40 000 people now decorate the place. *Shiver* Loads of beautiful gothic buildings - oh and they have a Bata there! lol
