Nice Lima. My sister went to Convent so I'll post for her seeing as she is in deepest darkest africa. My sister, Leigh Hammond went to Convent and left in 1996 or 1997. She was good mates with Kriisy Norton, Kim Pickard etc.

My goodness, I went to convent and left in Dec 1996, but shit some of the names are foreign to me. Some are familiar though, so I guess that means I haven't quite gone completely nuts.

I wasn't too much of a social butterfly at school, so maybe that explains why some of the names don't ring a bell. I spent too much time at the pool or on the hockey field, I didn't have too much time to hang out with my fellow convent chicks unfortunately, as Convent girls rock and for the most part have been raised right.

Plus, most of the girls at convent thought I was a bit of a bitch, why - I have no idea as I never did anything to earn that title, but you know most high school girls - they'll do and think anything to fit in. I never gave a shit about fitting in. I just wanted to survive and get the hell out of there and on with life, I had no use for popularity awards.

Plus for some reason girls in high school are snobs, at convent most of us for some reason tended to hang out with girls in there stream. The 1st streamers never socialized hardly ever with the 2nd and 3rd streamers. And then most (not all) of the 3rd streamers thought that the 2nd & 1st streamers judge them and thought they were dumb - which was not the case as far as I am concerned. So that really limited the social circle.

But after all of that blabble, hi fellow Convent girls good to chat to you and it's good to hear that you are all doing well and have grown up to be successful women. That make sme proud to be part of the group.

Shayne, wow you dated quite a few convent girls. I guess you knew to stay away from most of the village bicycles at the other schools and stick with the classy chicks at Convent.

Leigh Hammond, Kim Pickard, Cany & Bianca Samuels all are familiar to me. But Rose, Jenny Jones and Kirsty Aird are not familiar to me at all. Sorry ladies.

Maybe the names are not too familiar because I am a bit of an old toppie and if you ladies are more than 1 year younger than me I didn't really have a clue. Plus, I only knew girls younger than me that had done outrageous stuff at school, as of course as girls do we all scandled about it. So if you were a good girl and never did anything for us to scandle about then I didn't really know you. Sorry! But at least I'm honest.

With all that you deal with at school if no one had a direct impact on me then I really didnt' pay too much attention. If I didn't have class with you or have you in my House, or play sport with you, or a friend of mine was not dating you or whatever the case, unfortunately you were off my radar.

I used to Row, in ;92, or '93 with some choice Convent girls. We all used to smoke in the chicks changing rooms at the dam, and take pints at the bar after the races (in school tracksuits too...) Good times...

I almost fell off my seat in Geo class when Sister Katherine swore. She told the whole class that if we got a 'C' grade for A levels Geography that the 'C' stood for crap.

Sister Gundela was a good lady actually. I was in her office a lot as sport captain, but I was sometime sin her office for being bad. She was a qood lady. I was scared of her as well, but got ot know her in my last year.

There was a really old really short little nun that used to just walk around. Man she was a mena little lady. I have no idea her name but my goodness she was always shouting at someone for something. I think she was a bit nuts.

You know whats really scary is that my guy mates are almost all dating convent girls that are a few years younger than me. Some I know and some I don't have a clue who they are. But I remember those girls and I'm in shock that they are dating guys I know.
I don't know how to explain it, it's just weird. When I was in U6 these chicks were form 1 or 2, and now my mates are dating them. Shit, it seems wrong - they're just babies man. And I wonder what the girlfriends are telling my mates about me , probably nothing nice, because I was Sports Captain and therefore incharge of detention and Manual labor, so the youngsters hated me.
