When i was a kid, at school we used to keep ourselves amused by playing all sorts of crazy games,

Myfavorites at school were: Clay lakie - that enourmously popular game that accounted for many bruises and bruised ego's. - 1X whippy stick each, 2Xteams and lots of balls of clay. point was to brand anyone in the other team, you were only out if you surrendered.

three cup (not sure what its real name is) where you have three school cups balanced on each other (or similar) and then have two teams, one protecting the cups the other trying to knock them over.

the winner would be the team protecting the cups if they couldbrand all the other team out with a tennis ball and keep their cups intact or if the other team knocked over the cups without all beingbranded out. -played around the pool.

geez we were violent kids werent we??

My favourites were Open Gates and Crack the Whip! I was usually the smallest so was put onto the end of the "whip" - I don't know how I never broke a bone!

There were so many!!! 123block, kiss catchers, Tag, I did however get pushed over and broke my arm. there was also the one called Fly, you had three shoes placed apart thelength of a foot you had to walk, run and jump after each go the space got further apart hence the running and jumping and you werent allowed to touch the shoes.

Im not to sure what that game was, were you stick a "stick" in the sand and you gradually brushed away the sand and whoever made the stick fall over, got a thrashing. I got nailled plenty, fat boy cant run. Not Good. Fun game though, when it wasnt your turn.
