He he he...Dan Calan was JUST as bad as a cricket umpire, but the guy who took the cake as i recall as a schoolboy was Grant Sinclair when he was at Saints! Funnily enough i became quite good mates with him when i was teaching in Zim & he was at Peterhouse...he seems to have improved markedly in his dotage (that is middle to old age for the masses that didnt get a St John's College education :smiley2: )

Yah Dan Kalan was a wiley old fox! His son was pretty average at hockey/cricket. Father Nixon was the worst with the shotguns for lbw. A priest too. Think he loved his school too much. Was there for nearly 50 yrs!
