Sam, I remember you I think, there are quite a few people from this site in Oz,WA may as well be another country though hehe, I worked at sports cafe and a few of the clubs around 98- 2001 as a bartender, but eventually decided it was more fun other side the bar..

I'm in Thurgoona in New South Wales. We've been here for 5 years and still miss home like crazy. Thankfully there are a few South African around who understand the lingo so we're not too isolated.....lol, but no other Zimbabweans.

I've just had a browse of the web site - it looks great. We are in a wine growing region too (can you say 'wine growing'???...lol) Thurgoona itself is great, we're about 1 1/2 km from the Murray river and it's primarily a racing stable area.......everyone and his dog owns a racehorse here.

if you dont mind me asking why a Magna - surely a car like a Golf or even a commodore will have better accoustics than a magna, i find them so tinny!

Dude. Also in Newie. Here for three years at the John hunter. live in merewether. Love it so far. Not many zimbo's around. One other that I know of works with me. Going away for the Xmas period but if you are interested in having a beer in Jan just PM me. Always cool to catch up with a fellow zimbo.

Well i have the Verada which I think craps on "commonwhores" which every character has and needed something bigger than a golf and having owned a GTI I will never buy another VW
As for sounding tinny try dynamat

fair enough, each to their own.....
I personally think the best platform for sound is a jetta but then the closest to a jetta you get in Aus is a shitty Polo.

You can make any car sound amazing with the right equipment and install.
Best sounding car in the world last year was an old merc 2 door 560sec with completely rebuilt dashboard. (sound quality) look at this !
