My name is Simon Abson but also reply to "Abbo" or "Sabson" for obvious reasons. I sprung from the loins of a bustling Salisbury hospital called Ambuya Nehanda (the old name was Lady chancellor I think) in 1976 and have been resident in Harare until departing to Sydney Australia in 2000. Educated at Vainona Jnr, Alexandra Park Jnr and finally St Georges (Or "gorgeous" depending on your own school background) I then crossed the borewors cutain and went to UCT for my first undergrad degree. Finally ending up in Sydney to study medicine. Currently I am in the employ of John Howards government in a tiny Dorp called Newcastle. I lie it is in a great little seaside town. There is only one other Zimbo here that I know Heather, with others spread in Sydney and NZ. In my travels I have met a great many friends mostly from 'Harries' and the two ever bickering "Saints" upbringings. One of whom introduced me to this forum. (So thanks Mhun). Anyhow hope I can contribute something here from time to time and will endeavour to get others to join in, and try to keep in touch, important when we are all so dispersed globally.
Cheers
