And there goes the neighbourhood... :smiley2:
Howzit ekse.
A good friend of mine told me about this place, and since I happened to be passing, I thought I'd come and check it out. I see a few familiar 'faces' here :smiley20:
I'm living in Wellington, NZ these days. I see there are a few ouens living in Orcland. So I'd like to apologise in advance for the thrashing you guys are going to receive from the Hurricanes in the Super 14 this year.:13:
But if you could beat the Crusaders this year that would be good. :smiley32:
Anyway, that's all for now. Time for my injection.
Nuuuuuuuuurse!

Greetings Shifty and welcome aboard :)
I'm surprised Wellington have the net let alone power! And they cant play rugby for their lives thats why you should support a real Super 14 side like the Brumbies.
Anyway, see you in the sports section.

'The Force' is not so strong with that one.
You'd might have better luck with this one instead.

Most welcome Binky-kins. You still in regular contact with Chaela these days?
Thanks for the welcome Nyala.
Btw does anyone know where you can advertise stuff for sale?
Because for several months now I've been wanting to keep fit and generally just strengthen my muscles.
The other day I read in a health and fitness magazine that a cheap way to go about this is to buy yourself a pair of barbells and work out at home. I was very surprised to read this but the author of the article is a well respected body builder, so obviously knew what he was talking about.
Anyway this seemed like an excellent idea because it wouldn't clash with my working hours and I could do it in the privacy of my own home.
It was around about now that the problems began.
For starters, I had a hell of a job finding them in any of the usual sports shops and when I eventually did find a place that stocked them, they only had one in the shop. This was very frustrating but they were able to order me another, which arrived a week later.
Upon getting home I then realised that finding space for them was going to be a real problem.
Fortunately, it occured to me that I could leave them in the bath tub and then remove them whenever I needed to workout or my wife wanted to bath.
The real challenge however, came whenever I had to do my evening work out.
When doing bench press, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't hold them in a firm grip. :angry!: I eventually overcame this problem by wearing rubber gloves which also stopped the rough edges digging into me.
However I would still hit myself in the face quite often, particulary when trying to do chest press.
The final straw was when one of them slipped out of my hand and glanced on my head, giving me a black eye! :motz:
At this point, I decided that I'd had enough.
It wasn't as if I'd gained much muscle during my workouts either. What a complete waste of money!
So if anyone out there would like to buy a pair of barbells for gym, I'm selling this pair for $70. I've attached a picture of them below.

Hey Binks. Yup, she's not at work today. She's off to "The Big Day Out".
Was hoping to catch up with her at Zimstock but turns out that NZ Sevens are happening that weekend so it's fallen thru for now.:smiley6:

If you've got a new email address for her could you PM it across for me, or maybe you should just get her to sign up? We need the numbers. :smiley2:
