Try The Zimbabwean ... an independant Zim newspaper printed here in the UK.

Are you wanting to sell the house locally or internationally?

Either Shayne, but they are selling for forex, its been put on the market in Bulawayo for US$100 000 but i thought we would have a better chance of advertising it over here.

You could try posting on www.privateproperty.co.za (http://www.privateproperty.co.za) that way you may save on commissions etc. I just don't know how the legalities would work of payment, taxes etc. ZIM would probably want to try and bleed you of as much as possible.

Hi guys, thanks for all your help...
The house was sold for US$116 000
Very good price, but also very sad because it was such a beautiful house and held so many memories, so sad to see it go...but such is life in Zim...

Congrats on the sale!!
It's always sad saying goodbye to something you love.
LOL - since you started this post I have been dreaming non stop of the house we had in Harare and the one we had in Inyanga. I loved both those houses so much and loved living in them. They invoke such feelings. Probably cos a lot of 1sts happened there - lol - but anyway! And know that I will probably never again live in a house as beautiful.
