There has been a big thing on schools but not small zim towns as far as i can see! What small town are you from or who do you know?

I am from Chinhoyi originally and hubby from Kwekwe. Chinhoyi was great as were the Banket parties! Kwekwe was full of mad people!!!

I stayed in Karoi for a short while - left because I worked for a wanker who thought he was god and also couldnt handle the bullshit and gossip that goes with living in a small town

I was born in Kadoma... i was 6 when my folks took the gap...(1982) left zim for SA. Lived in a small town called Seven Fountains pop:60 then lived in Grahamstown and then another small town called Onder-Smoordrift pop: 45
then we moved back to zim and lived on the farm in Nyabira from 1986 to 1996 before moving into Harare to get out my folks hair :D

After I left Zim to move to the UK my parents left Harare and moved to Chinohyi... Have to say I hated going home to see them as the gossip in small towns is just ridiculas...

.......................Onder-Smoordrift pop: 45
.......

Been through Onder-Smoordrift many times. Only thing to do there is Farm Sheep, or make wire windmills. The following pic was taken in a town close by. Does this pic jolt your memory Biff?

I am from Centenary up in the northern part of Zim. I dont know how many of you played club rugby after school, I played for Mvurwi for a while. Ahhhhh the Mvurwi rugby festivals, there is nothing that compares to a weekend like those.

I was born in Kadoma, but left when i was young so dont really remember much. My family bought a farm in Norton in my opinion it was the best place on earth.

Chinhoyi parties were mad! We often had them at the caves or just the club. We also had many layby parties. When Lomagundi hosted the rugby trials or hockey trials we used to host people staying and we used to get pissed with my folks. So many of the guys would get pissed the night before their Zim trials - that baffeled me, only in Zim!

Well i dont think its grahamstown so its either Cradock or Somerset East.....

maybe Queenstown?.. it doesnt ring too many bells maybe my folks will know it.. i was only 9 when we lived there so the memories are restricted to Catching carp & eels in the Great fish river and the nasty thorn scrub that dominated the landscape.. ooh yes and the sheep & goats

Born Lusaka Zambia. Moved to Gweru at 2. All I can say about Gweru is .................. it used to be quite a pretty 'City' tsk. Last visit 05, scruffy dump.
