Chris Cairns has said good-bye to New Zealand cricket with a win.

The Black Caps all-rounder has finished his international career with a Twenty20 win over the West Indies.

It was an eventful night at Eden Park with streakers, Cairns' farewell, a tied cricket match, and a bowl-off.

Both sides finished with 126 runs from the 20 available overs, and Shane Bond forced the bowl-off by smashing a four from the final ball of the match.

After successive failed attempts by the first three Kiwi bowlers in the bowl-off, Bond and Scott Styris hit the stumps, which won the game for the Black Caps.

The game was delayed on four occasions by streakers, despite previous assertions from New Zealand Cricket that security was under control at Eden Park.

The fourth streaker was a woman, who was knocked to the ground in a heavy tackle by a security guard, and appeared to have been knocked out cold.

She was carried from the field.

Cairns - who took no wickets, scored just two runs, and missed both times in the bowl-off - was farewelled by a large passionate crowd, waving banners showing support and thanks to the all rounder
