Please help!!! I need to earn money from working at home on the computer, is there any one who knows how I can do this!!!! I would really appreciate some ideas.....no dirty ones please!!!! hahaha Thanks in advance!

Have you looked into Child Minding? They do the courses for free, ask your health visitor!

It is so hard, i looked into hundreds of stay at home jobs but they are all so dodgy and a lot require cold calling which i can't do. I work a 3 day week which allows me to balance being a mom and working but money was still short so i have applied for a job as a transcriber for the law firm i currently work for. It will be transcribing all the interviews at the police station with our duty solicitors. It will be boring just sitting and typing in the evenings but the money is good so maybe look into doing that. I have also started my own business putting pictures into coasters, keyrings and fridge magnets and i have had a few orders for people wanting to put their holiday photos into coasters and their children's pics on keyrings/magnets.

How would I go about finding a job doing all the typing, I can do that easily it is just finding the jobs. I can even audio type. I just need to do it at home

Why dont you advertise in your local offering that?

That's exactly what I would do! I'd advertise in the local papers, local post office, church, schools etc. Anywhere that you can put up notices. Offer secretarial services. There are loads of small home run businesses who need the help but don't want to employ somebody full time because of the costs involved. A friend of mine in the UK has a home sec job and she pops round to her 'boss' once a week to drop finished stuff and pick more up. The rest she does by email. Keep advertising and something WILL come up.

I wouldn't recommend agencies as they will take a cut. Aim for £1 per audio minute at least. Advertising would be best, I concur!

Not sure if they will offer me the position as being a transcripter you need to be dedicated and they might worry that i have a baby therefore unable to committ but if they don't accept me then i am familiar with many law firms and know a lot of duty solicitors so i will jut keep trying.

Like you - I have been down the road of searching through 100's work at home jobs and found them all to be a load of rubbish or badly paid. Wouldn't mind transcribing

Hey Chick, Shayne hasn't said yet if he minded me selling TCB keyrings. I will in the next few months get a website up and running and i will put TCB keyrings on there to sell if Shayne doesn't mind.

No don't contact the police station but a law firm that has a criminal department. I luckily (not) work in a law firm and our criminal department is quite big so they pass on the tapes to me of their clients being interviewed at police stations. They are pretty addictive actually, you should hear the swearing and the amount of drunk people they interview. I just did an interview of a drunk Zimbo caught drunk driving and it was funny hearing his accent on tape!

Excellent way to make money, 75% of the call is yours to keep, Anything from Horny Housewife to Astrology, now the astroglogy one, i know for a fact that they go out in the morning, buy the womans mag's from the news agent and sit there and read them out when someone calls in !! Good scam and totally legal ...... sod stuffing envelopes @ £10.00 per 1000
