Help!!

I cannot get onto TCB using my own pc(since 12th March), the web page always says not available etc. But I can get on using my sons pc upstairs!!
It seems to be a direct thing between my pc and TCB, any boffs out there with ideas as to how to rectify this??
I have cleared cookies etc as Shayne suggested, but nothing seems to work. I am able to access all my other sites etc with no probs, so its not the internet.
Any ideas/help please, I am going a bit dotty with this now!:smiley5:

Is it just TCB that you cant access? If it is only TCB that you are having problems with, it could be a Trojan or localhost file.There is one nasty called Troj/Agent that does block access to previously visited websites.
Why was your PC sick in the first instance?

i have that sometimes too nightape. it actually happened to me yesturday, dunno why it just happens. weird. sometimes it also takes forever to load that it just kicks me out and i wait for a few mins and go back and whala, its back to normal. if anyone does know why is sometimes comes up as website not available i will be interest to know too. come on you computer boffs on this site....

sometimes the sight is slow, but if u can get on upstairs might i suggest clearing more than ur cookies, like ur all ur online browsing all to gether, if u still fail try upgrading to ie7, or mozilla firefox instead of IE, reset ur IE to the orginial config, and make sure if u have a firewall running you haven't blocked the sight

Try use firefox and see if it still happens. If it works fine in firefox then you have a cookie problem in Explorer, clear all your cookies, restart your explorer. I had the same problem and had to copy just the cookie file from the computer I could log in on and paste it into the computer with the problem, what a shlep but it worked.

Thanks guys, tried all of the above. I even removed 7 from pc and reloaded it. tried mozilla already, same problem there.

As for when pc was sick, just needed a service as fan full of dust - no bugs or anything. I have McAfee and TCB is an allowed site, have no other firewalls running.

It's not that the page is slow loading Tongtastic, it just fails to connect, like my IP addy has been rejected or something along those lines. Not a boff so dont really know what else to think.
Also, I am still able to access my other sites without any difficulty. Nothing on my pc has changed as far as I am aware.

This upstairs/downstairs is for the birds!! lol

and yes we have to log on to the site to get the daily dose of tcb cant finish a day with out i t.

I'm back...........

After much palava and proxy bypass blah blah! And in the end it seems my ever so sweet McAfee banned TCB's ass!! Must have been changes it just didnt like!
