Amazing how many targeted Australia as an enemy - That'd be a real shock to John Howard.

One of the major contributing factors to this ignorance has to be the US Media, they drum the "fact" into their heads that USA is the centre of the frikin Universe and nothing or nobody is better than them, and nothing else matters. World news is only fed to them if it concerns the US. This is dangerous and breeds generations of ignorant idiots as seen in that video, sure they are not all that stupid or ignorant but you got to admit that is pretty scary for a so called first world country.
Sadly the one thing that sh*%s me about Australia is their media, they do the same, only reporting things that concern Australia and talk up everything Australian. It is good to be proud of your country and stand up for it but but be aware that you the sun does not orbit you and there are other countries on this planet where things of significance, both good and bad do sometimes happen. Get a passport! Read a book! see what is out there and get a better understanding of the world around you.

You go. I agree. UK do exactly the same thing. I never watch the news for that reason. I really need to know like a whole in my head that another 'hoodie' has been given an ASBO!! I say ditch TV and stick to forums such as this to get all your news!!!

F*ck I live in the states. They are more stupid than the people in the video. The people in the video are the smarter of the bunch.

Lived there for ten years, I think I would have got a more intelligent conversation if I went to the Johannesburg Zoo

We American's aren't really all that stupid. It's true we have a moron for a President but he will be out of office on January 21, 2009 (thank God[ I wish it was sooner] ). We do get alot of bad information from the news media and based on that we sometimes make bad judgements and bad decisions.

Which is why I joined this site to learn, make friends and have some fun and enjoy life.

It appears that some of you folks have found something that you agree with President Mugabe ( at least half way anyway). All of the problems in Zimbabwe are the fault of the British and the Americans.

Jamie don't take anything said in this thread to heart about Americans - honestly - the sweeping statements here are not intended to hurt anyone and I assure you Zimbabweans are far from perfect.

Not all the problems are due to the involvement of the British and American Politicians, but if you read up some info about these countries involvement with the Independence, you can make up your own mind as to who sold who down the drain. It's not a slight on the people of America who are not responsible for their politicians actions, as we are not responsible for Mugabe's.
