Well, my Step Dad (also called Evan) was from Masvingo area, he has a brother (Michael) and three sisters (Georgina, Alexandra & Georgia)

Is this the same family you are looking for?

I don't know any family in Zambia, but leave me with it, it's not a popular surname from Zim, especially from that area, so the chances are, my Dad might very well know what the story is ... may take a bit of time though, he works wierd hours and so I have to wait till I can chat to him.

I remember a Jackie Horton from Gweru in the mid-seventies. She'd be in her early 40's now. I wonder if she's part of the clan?

Not yet, he's been very busy starting a new job (well really it's an old job that he left and then went back to) so hasn't had time to try trace anyone ... but I'll let you know if he get's any results.
