Anyone been to Cancun in Mexico? If so what are the prices like there...food drink and the likes?

I have been to Mexico, Cancun. The hotels are pricey, they charge you a lot for drinks etc within the hotel. They rip tourists off of course, just like any place.

If you go into the more local area it's more normal pricing. Just becareful or thieves, hide your money liek you would in Zim I guess is what I am saying.

And when buying stuff in the local stores don't be afraid to barter, like you would at a curious place on the side of the road in Zim.

Be careful buying food and drinks from carts on the side of the road. Some are fine but some aren't. Some places wash the fruit in dirty water and you can of course get pretty sick from that. But ask the people if they used tape water or what to wash the food, to cook the food etc.

It's not different from being in Zim really. Just be smart and aware of your surroundings.

make sure u go all inclusive, i hear it's loads cheaper that way... otherwise you end up with nasty bills at the end... otherwise all the photo's i've seen are fantastic
