I found these versions of the American song...I found it interesting and thought I'd share it....

American version (shortened)

This land is your land, this land is my land From California to the New York Island From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters This land is made for you and me. As I go walking this ribbon of highway I see above me the endless skyway And all around me the wind keeps saying: This land is made for you and me.

Native American version

This land is your land, it once was my land, Before I sold you Manhattan Island; You banished my nation, to the reservation, This land was stolen by you from me.

Zimbabwean Version

This land is my land, and only my land And I just take land if I can’t buy land And if I spy land, well, then it’s my land. This land was made for only me.

Good one Nyala...........

The younger generation may not remember this song....., some of the oldies do you know the singer............

Our Wings are a fortress to our land,
Today a special missions planned,
Dear land today l serve the well,
Our Motherland has gone through hell,
No one in the world to heed her,
Tomorrow the world will know G... L....r.

Guys we still need all the help we can get here, and just maybe you are our WINGS.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!:smiley20:

R is for the regiments who fight the winning fight
H is for the home fires that our folks are keeping bright
O is for the officers and other ranks as well
D is for the die hards who will always fight in hell
E is for the enemy that just won't ever win
S is for the spirit of our men that won't grow dim
I is for the independence that we have to share
A is for the arms that we will always have to bear.
