Strange that all the bookies favour the Bulls to win. Perhaps it was their win over the Crusaders?

I reckon so.

That and the fact that the Blues/Sharks game was fairly close.

I do hope the Sharks win. In my opinion however I suspect that the only team who could definitely beat them right now would be the Chiefs, and that isn't going to happen now.

The Sharks are going to have to starve the Bulls of as much ball possession as they possibly can.

If the Sharks play a kicking game (like they normally do) against the Bulls then they are going to be slaughtered. Brumbies / Bulls are a running sides that retain the ball, use their forwards and hammer phase after phase upfield. Neither Brumbies nor Bulls kick willy nilly.

Two boys are playing cricket in a park in Durban, when all of a sudden a vicous dog appears and starts attacking the one kid. Shocked, the other little boy grabs his bat, and manages to lodge into the poochs collar, instantly breaking the dogs neck and saving his friend. A reporter who was passing by sees this this brave and decides to go and interview this little hero. After interviewing the kid, he thinks his possible headline out loud "Young Sharks Fan Saves Friend From Savage Attack" when suddenly they boy says, "but i dont support the sharks". The reporter looks stunned and then asks, "well how do you support then??", to which the little boy replies, the blue bulls. The reporter crosses the first headline out and re-thinks of one...then it came to him "Little Bastard From Pretoria Kills Beloved Family Pet"

Bulls' diamonds sparkle when needed

Duncan Johnstone and Reuters
The Bulls were praising their game breakers after their stunning last-gasp 20-19 win over the Sharks in the Super 14 final in Durban.

Wonder wing Bryan Habana dived over to score by the posts with time up on the clock and Derick Hougaard's conversion gave them South Africa's first Super rugby title in 12 long years.

The Sharks looked to have the game won when replacement lock Albert van den Berg scored close to fulltime. But Francois Steyn's missed conversion gave the Bulls a glimmer of hope and from the kick-off they engineered the converted try they needed for victory.

"We needed our game breakers to come through and luckily Bryan did," said Bulls captain Victor Matfield.

Habana, the hero, said he sensed something special was developing in front of him when he finally got the ball about 10m out from the line after a long period of build-up.

"The Sharks were expecting me to score in the corner not under the poles. Five or six of them over-rushed the ball and it just opened up on the inside for me," said Habana.

Bulls coach Heyneke Meyer said he never gave up hope even when his side went behind by six points with the match all but over on the clock.

"I have said before that this team is like charcoal and the pressure they are under just turns them into diamonds," he said.

"I said after they scored the (van den Bergh) try that we could still do it even though there were only seconds left. I am the proudest coach in the world and the luckiest because each of these guys enriches my life."
