Quizmaster has purchased a quiz questions book. I then realised perhaps no-one would be interested in another quiz - ie: general knowledge, so thought I would check with you first. I like doing the Zim quiz but it takes forever to research - I will continue tho as its good fun. So what do you think about general knowledge quiz?

You guys crack me up. I had a few niggles from contestants that some of the Zim questions were too hard, (don't worry I will not reveal names, but you know I am talking about you). So I devise an easy/hard quiz and the easy quiz gets ignored. Lol.

Ahh well you see I think it is coz the easy quiz is hard, so if you wanna look like you have a couple of spare brain cells, it is better to get a question wrong in the hard quiz then the easy one coz then people think better of you.....

Thought the football comment would get you going lol. I will consult the quiz book - but as its an old book I don't think the sports questions will be up to date.

Quizmaster asks: could peeps refrain from having idle chitchat in the quiz threads!! It makes for difficult marking, new peeps coming into the quiz may be confused and quizmaster is somewhat anal and has, in the past, been accused of being a posting policeman - rightly so in that instance - but for purposes of the quiz could you post all queries, chitchat and insults in this thread instead. Note for Barto: No I can't do a quiz about Rugby cause I know nothing about the sport and would suggest you take over the sports quiz.

Note for Shayne : The questions in the quiz book I have are few and far between, thats the best I could come up with.

Q10: the only thing smaller than Mercury is Pluto, but it was declassified as a planet about two years ago, so OBVIOUSLY that can't be the correct answer.....
